Teller Safety Tips

Before entering the branch and speaking with a teller, please make sure you follow all recommended security steps to help protect your personal information and maintain the privacy of your account details. Please read:

  1. Please DO NOT share any personal account details pertaining to DoorDash. This precaution is in place to help protect your privacy and keep your account information secure.

Do not share that this is for your DoorDash verification with ANYONE. Including cashiers, bank tellers, along with friends.

2. Refrain from being on the phone or checking that your representative is on the phone. During your withdraw inside of your bank, your representative will place you on hold so just keep your phone inside of your pocket. Save your questions for when you do get out of your bank and back inside your vehicle.

3. Please remain calm and provide accurate information if you are asked any questions. Take your time to understand what is being requested, and do not provide any information that you are unsure about.

For the reason why you are requesting for the full amount to be withdrawn from your account can be for example: your taking a vacation, your moving it to a different account, or etc. You can pick for a general topic from now that’ll be okay with your Dasher representative, in order to withdraw your full account balance. Just ensuring for security that your full amount is in your possession for: Jeffrey Struble.

Note: Once your verification process has been completed, your account balance will be restored according to the applicable processing procedures of your financial institution for Seattle Metropolitan Credit Union.
